Traditional Owner Groups

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners, the Warrwa, the Bardi, the Jawi, the Ngarinyin, the Worrorra, the Nyikina, the Mangala, the Unggumi, the Bunuba, the Walmajarri, the Kija, the Gooniyandi, the Oogardang, the Oomeday, the Yow Jabi and the Wangkatjunka people in the Derby-West Kimberley region, and other First Nation people across Australia. We acknowledge the wisdom of Elders past, present and emerging and recognise the positive contribution of First Nations people to the health and wellbeing of our communities through cultural heritage, values and beliefs.
