We are committed to providing members with the information they need to use and share community data with confidence. We’re always looking for new ways to improve how we create and work together across the Health and Community Services Industry. That’s why we launched the Community Information Exchange. The Community Information Exchange is where your information is securely stored. The most exciting part of this change is that this information can now be accessed and updated automatically across IT systems through the API, available to partnering organisations upon request.
We have also launched the My Community Info App, available for free download on iOS and Android devices.
To support these changes, we’ve made a few updates to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Here’s a quick summary.
Mobile Application Use. As we develop more mobile applications, we have clarified how these fit into use of the Platform.
Attribution. We are always finding new data that is useful to the community sector. This means that if you use information and publish it under the Terms & Conditions attribution requirements may apply. New Attribution requirements have been added to include information downloaded from the Platform or information accessed through the Community Information Exchange.
Profile visibility. Users of the Platform may see some of your basic profile information (like your name and profile picture) when you’re collaborating with others.
User terms. We have clarified how accounts can be cancelled and what membership levels qualify for a refund. We have also updated the numbering in the agreement to make it easier to read.
You can read and download a copy of the Platform Terms & Conditions, Standard Terms & Conditions and Privacy Statement, which will go into effect on 1 February 2018. For more details, visit our Help Center or send a message to [email protected].
